What languages do you program in?
We build websites in HTML, PHP, C#, ASP.NET or Delphi. You don't have pick a language, we'll select the most suitable for your project, however most of our websites are built using PHP.
Do you provide web hosting?
Web hosting is one of the most critical aspects of your websites success. It takes specialised teams and servers and round the clock monitoring. We don't provide hosting, however we generally include the setup and annual rates in our development fees as we have a shortlist of excellent web hosting companies.
Website marketing
Can I optimise my website after it's been launched?
Of course you can, however some web development companies do funny things to websites, so make sure the one you've chosen has an understanding of SEO. It's also a good idea to see if your CMS allows you to have unique page titles and descriptions, if not then you're facing an uphill battle already.
Can you optimise my website without changing it?
Optimisation is about improving - which means something has to change, otherwise it wouldn't need optimising right? We aim to optimise websites with as few visual changes as needed. Most of the time we find sites have not enough targetted content, so generally need to add pages.
My website is built entirely in Flash – can you optimise it?
Yes and no. Whilst websites built in Flash can supposedly be indexed by the search engines, from a useability point of view we encourage you to have only the elements you need in Flash and the rest of your website in HTML.
Can you guarantee rankings for search engine optimisation?
This is the most popular question we get asked. No SEO agency can guarantee a number one ranking. We can do everything in our power to whip your website into excellent shape, and set it on the path to high rankings, but we can't control the search engines algorithms.
